In the heart of Bundaberg, two mates, Kyle and Matt, found themselves on a quest for the perfect cup of coffee. Frustrated by the lack of options, they decided to take matters into their own hands. Over countless late-night brainstorming sessions fueled by mediocre brews, Favours Coffee was born.
Kyle, a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, insisted on “unreal quality” beans. Matt, ever the pragmatist, focused on delivering “the best price” without compromising the experience. They envisioned a café where “everyone is welcome,” from hipsters to grandmas, and where “amazing vibes” were as important as the coffee itself.
The duo knew that great service and “consistency” were key. So, they hired baristas who could pour a latte with their eyes closed and still flash a welcoming smile. Their secret? A training regime that involved both coffee tasting and stand-up comedy.
But they didn’t stop there. “Giving back to the community” became their mission, hosting local art shows and donating a portion of profits to local charities.
